Fine Tuned Editing offers two types of editing: copy editing and substantive editing.

Copy Editing – Editing for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.

Substantive Editing – This form of editing looks closely at the content, structure, language, style, and presentation of the work, and determines whether it successfully serves its intended purpose and readership.

Please see below to calculate the approximate cost of editing your work. The exact cost will be determined after I have viewed a sample of your work and calculated the amount of time and effort your unique project will require.

 

Rates

Copy Editing: $0.01/word

Substantive Editing: $0.03/word

Payment:

Fine Tuned Editing accepts payment via Paypal or check. An initial deposit of 30% of the total cost is required for the Editor to begin work. The final 70% will be due within one month of the edit’s completion. You will receive an electronic invoice from Fine Tuned Editing when payment is due.
